Practice Policies

SWIM CAPS REQUIRED at practices and meets (per the WCSHA HOA)

Although we offer morning and evening practices, swimmers may only attend one practice per day to avoid crowding.

For the safety of all swimmers, please do not talk to the coaches while they are on deck or in the pool during practices. Any questions or concerns should be directed to a Walnut Creek Swim Team Board member or the coach by email or after practice.

If young children not on the team are brought to practice, they must be supervised at all times by their parents/guardians.

Please be sure to pick up your swimmer on time.

Pool use is limited to registered swimmers only at all swim team events, including practices, meets, parties and Fun Fridays. The baby pool is off limits and no one is permitted to use the baby pool.

The only people permitted in the pool are the coaches, helpers and swimmers.

Swimmers are not allowed to dive off of the swim blocks in a swim meet until the team coach has certified the swimmer.  Dive certifications will be held at practices or at a dive clinic.

All Walnut Creek pool rules must be followed.

No swim team members or families are allowed in the Walnut Creek clubhouse.

We will notify you of any changes to practice times due to weather via the SwimTopia app and email.

All swimmers are encouraged to help each other to create a strong sense of team spirit!
