Welcome!
On behalf of Walnut Creek Swim Team (WCST) and its Board of Directors, welcome to our 2026 summer team! We hold practices and meets at the Walnut Creek Pool in Parkville, Missouri and the Walnut Creek South Homes Association is a huge Creeker supporter and sponsor, along with an exclusive group of community businesses and individuals. The Creeker program is recreationally competitive and is one of the eleven teams that participate in the Northland Swim Conference as well as a member of the Missouri Valley LSC and governed by USA Swimming. Our 8 week season, beginning in late May through mid-July, consists of six dual swim meets culminating in the 3-day Northland Swim Conference Championship meet held at The Springs.
Mission Statement
To promote the sport of competitive swimming through positive reinforcement and teaching sound stroke mechanics in a fun, safe and respectful atmosphere, while also encouraging sportsmanship and personal growth at all levels.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Walnut Creek Swim Team Practices (offered mornings 8:30-11:30 a.m. and evenings 8:15-9:15 p.m.), swimmers must:
- be 5-18 years of age as of June 1st
- demonstrate the ability to enter the water unaided
- swim the width of the pool (any stroke) without resting on the bottom of the pool
- register with USA Swimming after registering with the Walnut Creek Swim Team
If your swimmer is still learning basic foundational swimming skills, please consider our Junior Creekers program at the 8:00-8:30 a.m. practice.
