Ana has been swimming in the Northland Swim Conference since she was 5 years old for New Mark and Clayview. She also swam club for Tsunami Swim Team of Kansas City. She was also a member of Staley High School’s swim team all four years and captain for two. She qualified and finaled at State all four years of high school and she holds the 400 free relay record for her school. Currently, she competes for Truman State University’s swim team where she is obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree, and is a member of a Panhellenic sorority. She served as assistant head coach for the Creekers in 2025 and is so excited head the team for the 2026 season!
Avery Reed has been swimming with Walnut Creek since she was 4 years old. She also swam club with Blue Wave and NLU. She attended St. Teresa’s Academy and swam all but her senior year of high school due to an injury, and played volleyball for all 4 years. She attends Washington University in St. Louis, and plays volleyball while majoring in chemistry, and minoring in business on the pre-med track. She is excited to be coaching for a third year with Walnut Creek and loves to watch all the swimmers learn and experience such a great sport! She is very excited for this season!
Ronnie is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and has been involved in swim since she was 6. She swam club for Kansas City Blue Wave, and soon after added summer swim. At 13, she found her home at Walnut Creek. She now swims for the Kansas City Blazers and has gone to state for high school for 2 years. She will be a Senior at Platte County High School. This will be her second year serving as a Junior Coach and she will be the Junior Coach lead for the team's three new Junior Coaches. She can't wait to get back on deck for another amazing season!
Ari Elder is a sophomore at Park Hill South where he has also been a State finalist for swim. He swims club with Tsunami and has consistently performed at a high level each year on the Creekers, breaking several team records! He has been a team helper for the past three summers, received his lifeguard certification and worked as a lifeguard last summer, and has been a high point winner for the Creekers multiple times. Ari is excited to begin as a Junior Coach for the Creekers this year!
Maxen Claerhout has swam with the Creekers since 2019 and is a sophomore at Park Hill South High School. He swam club with NLU from 2019-2024, and with Club North since 2025. He has swam for Park Hill South since 2024, where he is an academic letter recipient and a district finalist in swim. Recognized as the Creekers Most Improved for the past two summers, he also received a Coach's Choice award last summer, served as swim helper the past three summers, and received his lifeguard certification and worked as a lifeguard last summer as well. He is excited to begin as a Junior Coach for the Creekers this year!
Aftyn has been swimming in the Northland Swim Conference since she was 5 years old for New Mark and Clayview. She currently swims under Tsunami of Kansas City Club team. She’s also a member of Staley High School’s swim team all four years. She qualified, finaled, and medaled at State all four years of high school and she holds the 400 free relay record, 200 free relay, and 200 medley relay for her school. This is her first year with the Creekers and is so excited to swim and coach. She is excited to see what the season brings!
